Down 0.2 Pounds

It’s better than nothing, and we just got back from vacation.  I think that’s just fine with me.

Weight loss this week: 0.2 pounds
Current weight: 201.6 pounds
TOTAL weight loss: 34.2 pounds

WRG and I just got back from Nebraska last night, after a 14-hour day in the car.  (It’s a good thing I like him a whole hell of a lot.  That’s a lot of time to spend with someone in a confined space…)  Being home was absolutely lovely, and I even worked out one of the days I was there!  It was an especially good one – I did a Nike Training Club workout AND ran 1/2 of a mile in one shot!  (Let me tell you something – having your incredibly fit boyfriend run behind you and not let up is some serious motivation.)  We also ate my parents’ incredibly good (and healthy) home-cooked food, so that helped as well.  I’ll tell you what, though – eating healthy on road trips is next to impossible.  You’re bored out of your mind, you’re sitting in the car all day, and all you want to do is snack snack snack. Bleh.  And by you I mean me.

Nonetheless, I’m down a little bit, and I’ll be down more this week.  Walter and I are about to hit the gym for a Zumba class.  Well, I’m going to do Zumba – he’s going to lift weights that weigh more than I do.  I’ll leave you with a few Instagram shots from the trip!
