Here’s how this week went:
WEEEEEE I’M UNEMPLOYED I’M GOING TO EAT EVERYTHING IN SIGHT PLUS THE THINGS THAT AREN’T IN SIGHT BUT I WANT TO BE IN SIGHT SO I WILL BUY THEM WITH THE MONEY I DON’T HAVE WEEEEEEEEEE.
Then I stopped being an idiot.
On Wednesday, I had leftover Tuscan Baked Zucchini for dinner and went to a holy-crap-I’m-going-to-die-but-in-the-best-way class at 24 Hour Fitness. On Thursday, I made salmon with lemon and mashed cauliflower (WW recipe) for dinner:
It was DELICIOUS. Although, I may have been a little too forceful with my garlic press:
I mean, really?? You’re supposed to make my garlic cooking experience easier. Ugh.
We also discovered an incredibly happy (and moderately healthy) dessert: assorted berries with light Cool Whip and a crumbled up Ghirardelli square!
This is seriously one of the best creations ever – all thanks to Walter. (He’s kind of brilliant sometimes.) Go try this. Right now.
Weight gain this week: 0.6 pounds
Current weight: 201.6 pounds
TOTAL weight loss: 34.2 pounds
Despite my early-week transgressions (ahem), I feel back on track. I tracked everything I ate today, and Walter and I are about to go to the gym. So I’m feeling good.
This whole unemployment thing also apparently means that my fashion choices are getting bolder. This week? BRIGHT BLUE PANTS.
I cannot possibly tell you how excited I am about these pants. I know that 34 pounds ago I would not have felt comfortable buying these pants – but I absolutely love them now. I’ve worn them 3 times in the past 4 days. Don’t judge me. (Okay, maybe judge me.) In the past, I would have never called attention to my legs with tight, bright blue pants. Those un-sassy days are over.
On to a new week! And maybe a few more blog posts during the week….? Whoa, Liz. Don’t get ahead of yourself.
