Weight Watchers was hoppin’ today.
They had a “housewarming” party all day today, so there were prizes and whatnot. And by “prizes” I mean Weight Watchers snacks. And by “whatnot” I mean a million and a half people. There were folks still in line when the meeting finished – it was shenanigans.
But, I was down 2.4 pounds!! Hoooooooray!! It’s been a week and a half since I weighed in, so it’s a good thing it was a big chunk of weight. For those of you who have been waiting with baited breath, my apologies. :) Here are the stats!
Weight loss this week: 2.4 pounds
Current weight: 213.2 pounds
TOTAL weight loss: 22.6 pounds!
I feel great! This weekend is going to present a bit of a challenge – Walter and I are in Dallas, taking a weekend to relax and get away from our crazy lives. It’s absolutely wonderful, but we will probably be eating out for all of our meals. Today, we went to the Dallas Museum of Art (which was AMAZING) and had this yummy lunch:
We shared all of these delicious things: the best quiche I’ve ever had, tomato basil soup, and berries with yogurt and granola. It was lovely, and not a gigantic number of points. (Although, I’m pretty sure that yogurt was not fat-free Dannon Light and Fit. It was fat-full and sugar-loaded, for real.)
Let’s hope we keep making good decisions. Happy MLK day weekend!!
Congrats on your weightloss and enjoy your weekend :)
You are a very brave person, Liz—I think this is fantastic, and you’re going to live forever!
